6 Months Ago today

It was 6 months ago today that I was extabated (spelling), i.e. taken off life-support. And six months ago yesterday I woke from my 3 1/2 week sleep. Pretty wild. Writing those dates, or times really makes me realize how far I’ve come. Although many days I don’t feel I’ve come far enough, in actual fact I do realize that I am a miracle and that I have made very significant progress. While the last six months have been a challenge, and one that I wasn’t thinking I would have to face, the next six month will bring new challenges, and this time I am really looking forward to facing them. The next six months will hopefully see me do many of the things I wanted to be doing in the Fall, prior to my summer sleep.

We’ll see how things go, but so far they are progressing at a rate that I am very content with, and I look forward to continuing and increasing this rate as my body and mind permit.

Take care and you’ll hear from me again soon.
