After two years in the making, We Get It was released in April 2009.

We Get It is a DVD that aims to reach young adult cancer survivors with the experiences and challenges that others in their position have faced. Just two months after its release, 956 We Get It DVDs had been distributed to cancer centers, community organizations, cancer-specific fundraisers, as well as to young adults with cancer across Canada to show them that... We Get It.

We Get It was created around seven issues that were identified by Retreat Yourself participants as being relevant to their cancer experience, issues such as: fertility, isolation and relationships.
