We are fortunate to be blessed with the great support of many individual and corporate donors. TD Canada Trust is one of our great Supporters in Action. Three years ago, Geoff Eaton connected with an old friend, Brad Bissett, who was working for TD Canada Trust. Brad suggested submitting a funding proposal request to TD Canada Trust for Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC). A proposal was submitted and YACC was awarded $5,000 in funding. Soon after, one of the local Branch Managers, Cathy Murphy (top), connected with Geoff to see how TD could become more involved.

Since that time, TD Canada Trust's involvement has grown significantly. The TD Canada Trust Team, including Cathy, along with Carson Chafe, another local branch Manager, and a great group of employees (bottom) have worked with us in many capacities. They organized our 2008 and 2009 Golf Tournaments, and raised a combined total of $50,000.

In 2009, TD Canada Trust became one of our Presenting Sponsors for the Shave for the Brave. The TD team volunteered on Shave day with Carson Chafe even shaving his head and raising over $2,500.

TD Canada Trust has provided YACC with a charitable organization's dream relationship - financial support combined with a great group of people who volunteer and support us. We are lucky and honoured to count them as friends and look forward to our continued relationship.
