ELLICSR hosting panel for people affected by cancer (Toronto)

Screen shot 2014-04-20 at 8.51.28 PM

ELLICSR is hosting “For Me With Me,” a forum for people touched by cancer (patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, and friends). This is their first event like this, and is designed to learn and share what helped people in each of these groups through their own cancer experiences.
ELLICSR issued an announcement about the event that said, “Patients, caregivers, family members, friends know about cancer. They know about asking questions, living life between appointments, fearing the unknown, taking time for themselves, and so much more. Or perhaps, sometimes they aren’t quite sure and want to learn from those that do.
“What if they could share what they know with others? What if together we could learn how to make the cancer journey a little bit easier for other people? What if together we could lead change?
“At this all-day event, participants will hear engaging speakers, learn how they can partner in their cancer and take part in hands-on activities to build tools to help others–listen, learn, lead.”
