First Talk with Nurses

Today I had my first sit down chat with Nursing students. It was a small class and there were 9 of us there, and they listened to me ramble about my story for over 2 hours. I really enjoy talking about my experiences as you know and today was no different. I am scheduled to meet with another class on Thursday and from there I will look to get some feedback on my content and presentation. It was nothing formal, quite the contrary actually, but it suited the environment and was really good practice to help me get my fact straight, so to speak. It has forced me to get all the events involving my experience in order and helped to put some additional structure around the events. It is something I have been playing with for the last couple of weeks and this allowed me to organize my thoughts and try them out in a forum of one of my future target audiences. As I said I haven’t receive much feedback yet, but that will hopefully come over the next week.

My thoughts towards my book have been flowing very well, and I have been writing like a madman for the past two weeks. The order of events and schedule of games and have been receiving most of my attention, and I am looking at the option of having a 7 game series as opposed to the 4 game series I have been describing to you all. As always I’ll keep you posted once my thoughts get some more structure.

All other things are fine, my drugs are remaining stable and I have had some pretty good congestion in my head the past week, but have started some antibiotics today. Fortunately it hasn’t resulted in much more than a running nose, and with a little luck the drugs will have it cleared up soon. My blood levels have been solid the last two weeks and if that trend continues tomorrow with my blood tests I should hopefully be able to start to drop my Prednisone again.

I’ll let you know how things go for the rest of the week, take care.
