So there I was two days ago, sitting at my desk, looking at my month planner which lies under my computer most of the time: January 11th, 2001. I thought, “Holy shit, the 13th is just a couple days away, which means the date to Victory Party is four months!” So I was set to do my four month countdown, and begin a series of thoughts in relation to My Series. Yesterday I was at lunch with my Mom, when it was pointed out that my countdown was indeed 1 month behind, as most of you know my series officially ends on April 13th, 2001. Which is three, not four, months away.
I wasn’t planning on dropping a month of the countdown on the first day, but there it went. Today we stand at the three month mark of my countdown. There is lots of hockey left to be played, and I am feeling more confident than ever. My plan, cause I always like to have one, is to begin my series of thoughts relating to my series, and to send them to you throughout the next 3 months.
For those of you that haven’t looked at the calendar, April 13th is on a Friday (which works very nicely for me, having been born on a 13th). This is the first of many invitations that you will receive: “You are all invited to the Victory Party!”
