Where are you located?
St. John’s, NL and Halifax, NS, again certified by the Verace Pizza Napoletana, the Italian governing body.

When did you join YACC’s Board of Directors?
October 2007

Why did you get involved with YACC?
Via family. I was exposed to RealTime Cancer years ago when my sister-in-law, Val Pike, taught Geoff and was involved with the organization from the beginning. Then, my children would collect my change and save it for the Signal Hill Climb. As good fortune would have it, one day Val asked me if I could meet with Geoff to discuss some business issues, which I did, and that was it for me. Geoff had such a compelling story, vision, and mission and his passion and dedication left me with no option but to join he and his team and try to help where I could. I have to confess, that every single meeting inspires me to do more with and for YACC.

What’s your favourite thing to do?
Well, the things I seem to do the most frequently these days are eat pizza, drink coffee and sample Italian wines…but it is all part of my work, and it really needs to be done!

I love doing outdoor activities and would love to get back to doing more running, swimming, biking and hiking… they help me clear my mind, keep me somewhat fit and connect me with great people.
