It’s almost unbelievable that we would even ask that question. Of course you have a story about the cancer experience! It’s probably why you saw this link in the first place. Well, now there’s another way to share it.
Ultra Sounds is an “online forum for creative exploration of the cancer experience.”
They are looking for submissions of any creative medium including poetry, prose, art, photography, cartoons, and videos from anyone with a story to tell about cancer. The submission doesn’t have to be by a cancer survivor, it can be from a family member, friend, oncology health professional, etc, and will post one per week.
This is a great way to help share our stories about what young adults deal with when they are diagnosed with cancer. Young adults have such a penchant for creative expression, so tell them your stories!
