In Love with Life

Hi everyone, sorry for my lengthy absence, hope you haven’t missed me too much! It’s been a pretty amazing past couple of weeks for a number of reasons, and all signs point towards the continuation of this trend. Two weeks ago I had one of the best blood tests I’ve had since being diagnosed as my hemoglobin (red cells) were 142, which is the highest they have been since sometime in the Fall of 98. My energy has continued to fluctuate, but it’s really hard to tell if it’s up or down from the summer, as I’m doing such a variety of things in relation to my “work”. Which I hardly consider work.

My days are pretty full, which leaves me relaxing most nights and weekends. The sharing of my experience in-person is quite an energizing experience, but exhausting at the same time. I’m learning just how much energy it takes to execute a passionate presentation to a group of people. I’m also learning how much I love doing it.

The Challenge has been progressing really well, and sometime last weekend the new My Friends email group out grew the original group and so far there are well over 300 students taking the Challenge. Which is a great core that has been building consistently throughout the past 2 weeks. It’s a pretty exceptional gift to be able to interact with such a great collection of students.

The ups and downs do continue to influence my days/weeks, as my stomach did take a couple of steps backwards again on Wednesday night, keeping me in bed for most all of Thursday and Friday. It’s starting to come around today, as I resume diet experimentation. There are no obvious signs why my stomach problems, that seemed to be a thing of the past 4-5 weeks ago, keep presenting themselves. Hopefully it will settle down again, this time.

Outside of the little steps forward and backward, things are great. I’ve begun to think about the expansion of the Challenge and look forward to making some real progress in that area over the next month or so. I hope things in your area of the world are great, and that you are enjoying/have enjoyed your weekend.

Live Life. Love Life.
