Yes friends I was reminded this morning that it’s that time of year again, of course I’m referring to the countdown to XMAS. The S&G Countdown stands at 22 days. Hope you all have your lights up, or are planning to do so this weekend.
On another note I’m heading to Toronto on Monday for my overdue 6 month check-up. Originally booked the first week in October and then the first week in November, I had to cancel both as I was unable to travel. But I am feeling up to it and really wanted to have the check-up before XMAS so I will be back at PMH on Tuesday. I have already had my pulmonary tests done, as I wanted to get as many tests done as possible before leaving. As far as I know the only other tests I will have done are the regular blood tests and then I will see the Doc’s. I’m only going for a few days, will be back on Wednesday, and probably won’t touch base again until then. All things continue to go well, I dropped Prednisone again yesterday, I’m now taking 2.5mg/day. My mind continues to make progress, while the body doesn’t want to advance at near the same rate, although I have been much more active in the past two weeks than in the previous two months.
I’m looking forward to XMAS, hope you are as well. I won’t have my computer with me in Toronto but will be around until Monday.
