Join The Friends of Gilda's Nova Scotia for The Hope Workshop

Join The Friends of Gilda’s Nova Scotia for The Hope Workshop, a free event for patients, survivors, and their friends and family, facilitated by Second City Alumnus and cancer survivor Robert Hawke.
The Hope Workshop is a chance for people who have been affected by cancer to come together, tell their stories, share resources and laugh. This event uses laughter, improvisation and “the wisdom in the room” to give participants a chance to find meaning, hope and connection in their experience.
Robert Hawke has performed internationally for The Second City Comedy Troupe. He has presented to physicians, nurses, medical students, cancer survivors and their families. He wrote the acclaimed book “Kicking cancer’s Ass: A Lighthearted Guide to the Fight of Your Life” and co-wrote the award winning “NormVsCancer: a Terminally Funny One Man Show.”
