YACC’s own Karine Chalifour is hosting a Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada webinar for young adults who have been diagnosed with cancer, and the health professionals who work with them.
YACC has connected with over 25 young adults (YA) living with a malignant brain tumour through face to face events like Retreats and Conferences. We have six profiles of YA with brain tumours on our site and continue to connect with more YA regularly. Because YA are often in school or beginning a career, the challenges that come with brain tumours can be really difficult and disrupt their path in a real way.
This webinar will teach you:
- To increase awareness of the situation of young adults in Canada.
- To create a greater understanding of the specific issues young adults with cancer face.
- To increase knowledge of the resources provided by Young Adult Cancer Canada.
