On October 25, Localife Ottawa headed out to Millers’ Farm in search of the perfect pumpkins to carve. We jumped on to a tractor ride with our participants and headed into the rainy field. We searched for about 15 minutes, and it was easier for some than for others. We choose three pumpkins that varied in size, but all that were great for carving.
We took another tractor ride back out to pay for our gourds, and since the weather wasn’t cooperating, we decided to head back to Meghan’s for the main event and to enjoy some hot apple cider.
We enjoyed warming up and chatting while we paired up to carve. The designs included a spider, a ghost, a witch, a YACC logo and a few regular faces. The six of us had a great time chatting and preparing for Halloween, and we are looking forward to our next event of pizza and games. See you in December!
