On December 5, 2014, Localife Ottawa decided to end the first half of its third year with the third annual Pizza and Games night. In TV terms, this was our mid-season finale — and boy, was it ever a good one!
The event was hosted by two of our YACC and Localife Ottawa alumni, Jen and JP. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our group who are willing to put up with all of our shenanigans! We couldn’t have done it without you guys!
The turnout was great. We had a bunch of familiar faces — some of whom we hadn’t seen in a while — so it was nice to be able to catch up with everyone.
We ordered some delicious pizzas from Louis’ Restaurant and Pizzeria, a local pizza place, and completely obliterated them while having some wonderful, laughter-filled conversations. There were definitely plenty of happy tummies.
The game of choice for the night was Cards Against Humanity which we played well into the evening. Unfortunately, none of the best parts can be shared here; what happens at pizza and games night, stays at pizza and games night.
As the night wore on, we all slowly began to tire, so we closed the chapter on another successful event.
This was our last event of 2014 but we do have plenty more planned for 2015 such as Winterlude, bowling, comedy night, and — of course — a trip to a sugar shack! Keep your eyes on your emails and consult our events calendar for details.
