Although there was an intense rainstorm that night, Localifers got to enjoy a fantastic evening of glow in the dark indoor mini putt on June 13, 2013.
RINX offered a variety of activities from laser tag to floor hockey and so much more. For the fun factor, we found that working from golf challenge to golf challenge as two separate teams was definitely the best selection for all of us. Between the music, skill level, visual challenge of black-light-painted everything, it was hard to keep track who was having the best time of all!
We had familiar faces and new, and it was probably one of the most balanced events with regards to the survivors-supporters ratio. A great spread of food and wonderful staff capped off the evening.
The connections made at the food table afterwards were both inspiring and hilarious. From mini putt to cancer stories, new friends were made, and all were anxious to connect again soon for our final event of Localife Toronto year one!
