Organization
We will strive to create an authentic, caring, community in every city that actively reaches out to recently diagnosed and post-treatment young adult survivors in order to reverse the isolation that many young adult cancer survivors feel.
Events will always have a fun, unstructured feel to them so that all young adults feel comfortable and open to share.
Events will have a minimal cost and take place at times and in locations that make it easy for young adults to attend.
Events will happen on a regular basis and be well organized and executed by the SIA (Survivors In Action) in charge.
Events will use fun activities to build community and provide a space for connection instead of a traditional discussion based connection model.
