Greetings from the newest YACC team member

As the new Director of Fund Development for Young Adult Cancer Canada, I will be working with Geoff and the entire team on bringing the organization to the next level.

As I settle into this new role, I am developing an even greater understanding and appreciation for the evolution that this great organization has undergone in a relatively short period of time. I look forward to working with the YACC team, a group of individuals with diverse backgrounds and talents, but all sharing the same vision and passion in supporting young adults along their cancer journey.

I thank Geoff and the entire team for their assistance (and patience) in my transition, and look forward to the great experiences that lie ahead.

YACC welcomes new Director of Fund Development, Emily Geary

Young Adult Cancer Canada is very excited to welcome Emily Geary into our family as our new Director of Fund Development!

Emily is a Newfoundlander who left the province to follow her husband to New York, but is now back on the Rock, family in tow! Emily's most recent position was as a Grantwriter for a large non-profit agency in upstate New York. She has lots of experience in the event and not-for-profit world, and we just know she will be a great asset to us!

We wanted to send a big WELCOME out to Emily and to introduce our new find to our community.

This is a great step in the right direction for YACC and I, for one, am VERY excited at what the future holds for us and for the young adult cancer world!!

Welcome to the family Emily!

Director of Fund Development: position filled

YACC is happy to announce that we have filled the position of Director of Fund Development.

We wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone who connected with us and sent along their resumes! We received over 75 applications. It also made this a difficult choice as there were so many people with great experience and willingness to help and make a difference.

Thanks to everyone who applied!
