SC 2010 on the Rock will be absolutely amazing; you don’t want to miss it. Here is a little taste of what will happen from Nov.4-8th 2010.

Location: Comfort Inn Hotel, St-John’s, NL. Yes, we will be IN the city this time!
This year we decided to find a place in St-John’s to hold the Conference. The Comfort Inn is a 2 min shuttle ride from the Airport and 10 minutes from historic downtown St. John’s and Signal Hill.

Spaces are limited, so don’t wait too long.

Highlights of the Conference

Thursday Nov. 4th, 2010
o Registrations (get your conference package and all the info you need between noon and 5pm)
o Supper as one big happy family!
o Special bonding evening

Friday Nov. 5th 2010
o Workshop that may involve a prescription of meditation by a certain Dr…or something else…
o Time to bond, share, laugh, get inspired.

Saturday Nov. 6th 2010
o A mind-blowing workshop with a great Chef. All I can say is that he is young, talented and creative! Want to know more? Come back on August 2nd.
o Survivor Climb…

Get ready to bundle up and attack Signal Hill up front
One of the most powerful moments of last year’s conference was definitely the Climb of Signal Hill. 48 survivors, supporters and facilitators joined the St-John’s community and went up the hill.
This year, in honor of all of you amazing people and in memory of those who are only with us in spirit, we decided to make this an integrated part of the Conference and have our own personal Climb; The Survivor Climb. Saturday afternoon Nov. 6th we will drive everyone to Signal Hill and we will make it to the top together. As usual, we will make sure everyone is able to participate (driving those who can’t climb up the hill). This will be our moment, our ritual to celebrate life and honor those we love and miss.

Fundraising opportunity – get yourself to the Rock!
Of course, like last year, the Survivor Climb will be a way for you to raise some funds to help get you to Newfoundland. Last year, the survivors and supporters raised over $10,000!!!

The money raised helped to pay for many flights and helped our community get to the Conference. YACC is growing and so is the Conference, and we need your help to continue growing our community.

If you want to raise money through the Survivor Climb to help pay for your travel costs and maybe help your peers get here too, you first need to Apply for the Conference.

Once you get your confirmation you can go to Survivor Climb and register.
