We couldn’t support young adults living with, through, and beyond cancer without you.

Lesley Morrissey, our community engagement manager, is celebrating her 10 year YACC anniversary!

Thank you so much for staying connected to YACC and for continuing to believe in our mission.

We’re launching a YACC store, and we want your feedback!

As some of you may know, I am about to embark on another new adventure – baby number two is due in two and a half weeks.

We have been keeping our HR department pretty busy around here lately by adding a few new people to our team, and we wanted to introduce them to you.

We want to congratulate Heather Bonynge, Gerrad Downs, and Becky MacLean for being selected as our first “YACCtivists.”

When I first heard about Localife, I thought it was Loca-Life—as in, Crazy-Life— which made sense to me since getting cancer as a young adult is pretty crazy.

We have been piloting Localife in Calgary for a little while and we’re ready to roll it out to Edmonton, Toronto, and Ottawa–but we need your help.

Last fall we told you about Christian Legge, an 11-year-old Shaver who was nominated for the Newfoundland and Labrador Genie Hero of the Year award. We’re happy to say your voting paid off and Christian was named the winner at the gala held on January 19, 2012.
