Understand

Good Tuesday morning everyone. It’s been a little while since I’ve sent a daytime message but that’s just what I’m doing today. I said I would share my lesson when I figured it out, so here I am to share. Hope you can make sense of it and enjoy your day!

Understand

It took me a little while, in some respects it took me a very little while, but I feel I have come to an understanding of my latest challenge. To clarify, I don’t think of understanding as a destination as much as a journey, and that journey doesn’t necessarily have an end. This challenge is surely no different, but I have come to a point where I have found comfort with my discomfort. This may not be permanent, as I’m sure my comfort will be tested many times. But I’ll get up for those tests just as I have for all those presented thus far.

Tests do seem to be a bit of theme for me. The truth is I feel they are a theme for us all. Tests come at different times and in very different ways, some times we are very aware of them, as I am presently, other times the test is as much related to the discovery as it is with the dealing. I also call tests challenges, and as you know I think of challenges as opportunities, which would make tests opportunities as well. (I think a math teacher would call that substitution.)

Understanding that my latest test, or challenge, is really an opportunity in disguise, my best way to pass the test is to search for the lesson. So that is what I did, and here is what I have discovered, so far.

This latest test of mine was very related to love, which wasn’t obvious to me at first but it soon became very obvious. You have heard me talk about love, and you know how fond I am of it. I think it is the most important experience we can have in this life. And it does come in two forms, there is the receiving love and the sending love. Without getting too much deeper, the Law of Karma states that “you get what you give”, roughly. And love is very much that way, simply the more you give the more you get. However the best part about love that I have discovered is that sending your love is as exceptional, if not more exceptional, than receiving someone else’s.

In fact I would suggest to you that love is best when shared, or “sent.”

The lesson that I have learned, or more specifically, the lesson I have had reinforced is that your love is for sharing, for sending, it is not for keeping to yourself. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t love yourself, as I feel that is the first step in truly sending your love. To truly send your love, it must come from a place of love, and that place is inside everyone, we are made of love. Recognizing that may be your challenge, but I believe that we are love at our core.

So as I went into my core during this latest test I found my love and then I did what I love to do best with it. I decided to do what I have learned is one of the most exceptional experiences we can have in this lifetime. I decided to share it.

I’m not sure where I’d be without these tests, but I can tell you that I wouldn’t be here. And I can also tell you that I wouldn’t want to be any place other than here, right now and forever here in this moment.

Hope I haven’t gone way too deep, which we all know I can do from time to time. I used to apologize for going too deep, but I can tell you that the view from down here is so exceptional that I keep coming back for more.

Have a great day and you’ll hear from me again.

Always…
Live Life. Love Life.
