Blah, blah, blah!! Well I have had my first meeting at the Healthcare Corp. offices and yes the answers I received were much as I anticipated, political for lack of a better word. Many of the questions I asked were greeted with the “we are limited by our resources” statement. I unfortunately got very near nowhere and have about a million people and departments to contact if I am to begin to piece together the registration development process. On the positive side I do have the lady’s number who is responsible for the consumer feedback group and facilitates those meetings and I believe establishes the consumer committee. I will find out more in that area over the next several days.
My investigation will continue and at this point I really need to breakdown the structure of the corporation and find out who I should be talking to. Of course once I have some solid information relating to their “resources” and should they continue to give me the political shoulder it might be fun to explore this situation in a more public forum. I guess I’m getting back to that “shit disturber” position I mentioned a while ago. Simply put I seem to have a complete intolerance for inefficiency and bureaucracy and unless you carry a big stick it seems that the only effective weapon you have is that of public opinion.
We’ll see how things go over the next while, but as for today it was less than successful in my eyes. Of course compared to Cancer the Healthcare Corp. is like stepping on an ant, and so far I’m in a stomping frame of mind.
