Wellspring Calgary hosting MJ Decoteau from Rethink Breast Cancer

image

Wellspring Calgary is hosting The Outstanding Questions Speaker Series, “a series for women living with breast cancer and those who love them.”
On Wednesday, April 20, they will present “Young Women: I’m so young, how did this happen to me?” from 7-9 p.m.
They invite you to join us to meet the first person in Canada to step up and out for young women concerned about and affected by breast cancer. MJ DeCoteau approaches breast cancer in every which way but sitting down.
In 2001 she started the Canadian charity, Rethink Breast Cancer. Under MJ’s leadership, Rethink has raised over $10 million for the breast cancer cause. Young women face unique challenges when diagnosed with breast cancer. Rethink is focused on blazing new and innovative trails in research, education and support programs for young or young(ish) women going through it.
Everyone is welcome and there is no charge, but space is limited. For more information, or to reserve a space, please contact Nicola Dawes at [email protected] or call Wellspring at 403-521-5292.

This project has been made possible through a grant from the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Prairies/NWT Region.
