Young Adult Cancer Canada, Canada’s leading support organization for young adults dealing with cancer, is looking for someone who is very organized, focused, and adaptable to join our growing team.
This position will be based in Halifax, NS, but will spend considerable time in St. John’s, NL, initally. This position will support the delivery of local and national programs, coordinate the delivery of the Shave for the Brave in the Maritimes, focus on network development and relationship management, and oversee the operation of our Halifax office.
Our best-fit is a person with at least two years of experience working in or with charitable and/or health organizations, a bachelor’s degree in social sciences with training in program development and evaluation, and a desire to change the lives of young adults with cancer.
Strong communications skills combined with a heightened attention to detail are essential. As part of YACC’s team you will lead the development of new networks in the Maritimes, which means your independence and comfort with a flexible work schedule will be in play daily.
