“You have cancer.” These words change the lives of an estimated 500 Canadians a day — 19 of those are young adults. To help Canadians manage through a cancer diagnosis, Eli Lilly Canada has launched Lilly Oncology On Canvas Canada, an art competition that honours the physical and emotional journeys Canadians face when dealing with cancer.
This competition asks entrants to create an original piece of artwork that depicts their cancer journey, whether they are a patient, caregiver, family member, or healthcare provider.
Each submission should also be accompanied by a short, written submission describing the cancer journey depicted in the artwork. Entrants may then ship their entry to Lilly Oncology on Canvas (visit this page for more details and shipping info).
The deadline is September 30, 2014.
