The YACCer Spotlight segment of the Survivor Conference is a long-standing tradition at YACC. These 15-minute moments allow us to hear of people who “get it” to help build connection and a sense of belonging.
- Inspire others
- Enhance feelings of connection
- Learn ways to live life and love life
This is an open call for everyone, but YACC will prioritize voices and perspectives who have been underrepresented in the cancer care community, including, but not limited to communities such as BIPOC, 2SLGBTQAI+, various cultures and religions, and individuals living with a disability.
TO APPLY: Send a two-minute video giving an example of how cancer changed your life (in a good way, a not so good way–you decide) to Gabrielle ([email protected]) by Sunday, January 3, 2021.
ELIGIBILITY: To present during a YACCer spotlight, you must be a young adult living with, through, or beyond cancer (aged 18-39) who is registered for Survivor Conference 2021: Chill. Register here!
