On Janaury 17, Localife Ottawa had our first event of 2015. We decided to forego the bitter outdoors and go back to Merivale Bowling Lanes for an evening of five-pin bowling.
We had a great mix of alumni and new members, and had a great time bowling, despite a few hiccups along the way. To say we are professional five-pin bowlers would be stretching it a bit, though in the end, we all ended up with pretty amazing scores (which would have been better had it not been for the -15 points you get for crossing the line).
After bowling, we were all pretty hungry so we all got into our cold cars and drove a couple blocks down to Boston Pizza. There, we continued to share in some delicious appetizers and conversation. I would tell you what we ate, but I cannot remember anything other than the tongue twister named “pizzatizers.” Let’s chalk that up to the other B — brain fog.
