Cancer and Sexuality Research Study

Cancer and Sexuality Research Study

Who: If you are between the ages of 18-25 and had/has cancer and underwent treatment when you were between the ages of 13-21 your help is greatly needed!

What: 30 minutes of your time to participate in a personal or phone interview OR are willing to fill out a survey it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Reason: 1) To describe the affects of cancer and its treatment in reference to its impact on the emerging sexual self in adolescence; physical, emotional and social.

2) To determine which services were helpful or needed in the process of developing the sexual self while undergoing cancer treatments.

3) To identify gaps in service delivery in relationship to emerging sexuality during this time, so that health care professionals can improve the quality of care.
