Aidan Maloney, Holly Grant, and Geoff Eaton
Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC) founder and executive director Geoff Eaton was named a recipient of the 2013 Aidan Maloney Emerging Professionals Award for Vocational and Community Service today at the Rotary Club of St. John’s Northwest. Award Committee Chair Andrea Stack said, “Every year we continue to be astounded by the innovative and passionate work being done by so many young leaders in this community. This year’s winners are truly enhancing the lives of thousands of young people throughout the province and country with their tenacity and selflessness.”
The award is named in honour of St. John’s Northwest Rotarian, former Rotary District Governor, and lifelong leader Aidan Maloney, and is awarded annually to two professionals between the ages of 25-40 who are positively impacting their vocations and communities.
Thank you to the Rotary Club of St. John’s Northwest for recognizing Geoff for his dedication toward helping young adults deal with cancer in Canada, and congratulations to Holly Grant for being recognized this year as well.
