Parenting and fertility are two issues many young adults are faced with when they’re diagnosed with cancer. How will they explain cancer to their children? How will cancer affect their parenting? Will their treatment mean they will be unable to have kids at all? Are they even ready to think about family planning?
We’ll explore these questions this month with anecdotes from the YACC community, and we encourage you to chime in with stories of your own experiences. This is a big conversation with many different angles, and one that could definitely use a little spotlight.
