Localife Calgary was at Prince’s Island Park on August 16, 2017 to take in one of our city’s most beloved yearly outdoor events, Shakespeare by Bow! This year’s production was the romantic comedy As You Like It.
We arrived early and staked out awesome spots on the grass, giving everyone a chance to connect and chat before the show began. The play turned out to have an action-packed plot complete with escapades of scheming friends, battling brothers, love struck shepherds, and even a ridiculous court clown. The best part of the evening was the beautiful weather and having the chance to belly laugh together at some of Shakespeare’s imbedded jokes and innuendos!
