Localife Ottawa: Hole-in-ones and four-cheese dip

image

September 22 was a cloudy and wet Saturday afternoon and although we had to postpone our original plans of getting out onto Dows Lake due to the weather, we still managed to get a bunch of survivors out for an excellent game of glow-in-the-dark mini-golf at Putting Edge in Nepean.
In total we had a group of 14 survivors, supporters, and family come out for a great time. We split into small groups and made our way through the challenging 18 hole course. The glow-in-the-dark obstacles proved to be difficult on some holes. It wasn’t uncommon to see a 9-, 10-, or even the odd 27-stroke hole every now and then. However, since we were all professional mini-golfers, it also wasn’t uncommon to see some amazing shots that resulted in hole-in-ones!
After all the groups finished their games, we decided to grab a bite to eat. We all made the short walk over to Kelsey’s for some Fully Loaded Nachos and Four Cheese Spinach Dip. We shared some interesting stories and adventures, and also had other great conversation and many laughs.
We had a wonderful time and look forward to seeing everyone at the next event (or at Survivor Conference–whichever comes first)!
