Glow Vancouver was Localife Vancouver’s third holiday lights event, and there’s a reason why. Upon announcing the event to our group, ten people signed up instantly!
On the day of the event, our group of 11 survivors and supporters roamed around the lights festival for just over an hour. Conversations ranging from holiday plans to cancer stories were shared between participants. Everyone got along so well that they didn’t want to part with one another so a few people put their heads together to find another place to hang out.
We ended up walking across the street to Parq Hotel for some Asian snacks and drinks. Conversations continued, sharing stories and experiences with each other.
Glow Vancouver was a fun way to keep the holiday spirit going just days before Christmas! We all look forward to getting together again.
