Lynsey Frangakis was a member of the YACC community for years, inspiring us to do good, be nice, and have fun. Her engagement and influence made a big impact on YACC HQ and the community, and continues to do so through The Firecracker Fund (In Memory of Lynsey Frangakis), a Donor Advised fund held at Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation (KWCF).
This year, the fund contributed $350 toward YACC’s programs and services. This generous gift will help more young adults affected by cancer, like Lynsey, and the people who support them, like her husband Steve, connect with a supportive community that understands what it’s like to face cancer in the prime of your life.
