Quick note to say that my bone marrow is clean, which is what was expected. Unfortunately still inconclusive regarding the “remission”, which is the production of healthy white cells, or a “relapse”, which would mean I am producing contaminated white cells. Fortunately for me I get to have another bone marrow test in about a week or so, and we should have some definitive news at that time.
I must admit that all this unknown “down time” is frustrating. It is as if I am playing in the opposing team’s rink and the fans keep throwing crap on the ice so that we can’t finish the third period. (like the Florida Panthers for you sports fans) Anyway my patience will have to be extended, I have been here for 3 1/2 weeks already so what is another 1 1/2? I’ll tell you what it is, it’s 5 damn weeks in hospital, which is by far the longest time I have spent “behind bars”. Hahahaha. Actually the time really has run by, as I’m sure the next few months will, we’ll all be sitting down having a beer before we know it.
By the way I’m planning a nation wide tour to have a beer with everyone in the group, of course I’m still looking for sponsors. I’m thinking a beer company, an airline, and a hotel chain, I think we as a group are going to have to make a concerted effort to add some potential sponsors to the group!!
