- Free-to-You Rate (full bursary $0): We believe that cost should not prevent participation! We work hard to bring as many folks who require this option as possible.
- Cost-Recovery Rate (partially subsidized $1,000): Helps recover meal, venue and hospitality costs of the multi-day experience.
- Full Program Rate ($2,000): Reflects the true cost of delivering the multi-day experience, including activity costs, production, and accessibility supports.
Please note that you are responsible for the costs and booking of your travel. You are welcome to apply for our travel assistance program which can help cover 50 per cent of your travel costs up to a designated amount for your province.

Eligibility
Retreat Yourself Adventure is open to Canadians who were diagnosed with cancer before the age of 40 and are currently between 18-39* who are at least one year post-treatment and have not yet attended the Retreat Yourself Adventure program. You can invite one peer supporter who has been a part of your cancer experience, or with whom you have a relationship that could benefit from learning more about how cancer affects your life (like a sibling, friend, partner, etc.).
*Exceptions might be made for those who are over the age of 39 where space is available. Special considerations might also be made for those with a chronic or metastatic diagnosis.
What you can expect

Adventure
Do activities that will allow you to face your fears and let you get to know yourself a little better, like ziplining, hiking, and more.

Support
Connect with a group of people that totally get it. Together, we’ll go on an amazing adventure and take time to address what it means to be in that zone, and how to transition from it.

Empowerment
You’ll be empowered to continue moving forward by growing your confidence in your body and mind. You’ll recognize your strengths, push your limits, and let go of shit.
The 2024 Recap
"We talked a lot about our cancer journeys, but it was the first time in 18 months that I felt like someone who was much more than my cancer, that my cancer didn't define me, and I was still valuable in many other ways."
