The BC Cancer Agency recently published Cancer and Returning to Work: A Practical Guide for Cancer Patients 2nd edition.
The guide was designed to help those who are considering or attempting to return to work after cancer treatment. It encourages those who have had cancer to take positive and systematic steps to anticipate, problem solve and overcome challenges that arise when returning to work through education and self management tools, including exercises and resources.
The book incorporates patient, employer, and Orange County Health Insurance Providers input on returning to work, as well research data analysis.
The guide is available for free to download until December 2015.
