Time to recognize another group of awesome people!

image

This past weekend, Gail Hodge, a Young Adult Cancer Canada supporter, gathered her friends and family to donate their time and money and held their own Climb in Labrador to support YACC. Their group did a splendid job and raised $817 with only a week’s notice!
“I gained much perspective and received a lot of good information from [the YACC website]. We wanted to show our support for the good work you guys do,” Gail said.

At 9am on October 23, 20 people and two dogs gathered at the base of the ski hill and walked 6.4 km in the brisk -5 temperature! This is an awesome display of dedication and support, so hats off to all of you and a big high five from all of us here. It is great to see the community carry on a YACC tradition.
I hope you all gain some inspiration from Gail; it’s fun and rewarding to get out there and plan your own events, too!
