Volunteers needed for the Mews Memorial 8k!

This year will mark the 32nd Anniversary of the annual Mews Memorial 8k road race in St. John’s, NL, THE race for runners to test their Tely10 readiness.

Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC) has been choosing to be the charity recipient of this event. To make this year even better, we need 20-30 amazing volunteers to help out at the run at registration, handing out t-shirts, water stations, and more. The most common role is a road marshal helps direct traffic to ensure the safety of runners, but more importantly, cheers on all the runners as they come by.

Details
Date: Sunday, July 14
Time: The race starts at 8 a.m. and most positions run from 7:30-9:30 a.m., but there are different volunteer positions at different times.
The location will vary along the course depending on your specific task.

If you are interested, please email [email protected] with the roles you’re interested in.
