What a year!

We kicked off 2020 with big dreams and goals of helping more young adults affected by cancer connect with the supportive peer community they crave, but we never thought we would do it like this!

The Coronavirus pandemic forced many of us to pivot and innovate. At YACC, we had to cancel most of our face-to-face programs (including the largest Survivor Conference ever planned) and find new ways to deliver our mission (including hosting a virtual Survivor Conference for even more people than we could have had in person). We explored new fundraising initiatives, created new web-based programs, and found new ways to make it all happen.

But we didn’t do it alone.

We are grateful for the support, engagement, and enthusiasm shown by the entire YACC community this year, including our survivor and supporter community, volunteers and program leaders, health professional network, donors and supporters, Shavers and Head Hunters, third-party event organizers and participants, board members, partners, and so many others. Together, we have helped thousands of young adults living with, through, and beyond cancer feel supported and empowered to live and love life. Thank you.

We look forward to reconnecting in 2021 and making it another year to remember.

Stay safe,
The YACC team
